Bridging the gap, fusing the cultures
Drawing inspiration from the Dodger’s logo, I reimagined a design which represented a country that has profoundly shaped my identity and life. Being both Black and Japanese, I have strong ties to Japan—I’ve lived and worked there. Even though I live in California, I still shop at Japanese supermarkets and enjoy chillin' at home watching anime.
For those who understand or are fascinated by the culture, you know the nostalgic sounds of a train station, the deep connection felt when discussing Japan, or the joy of watching your favorite anime.
I established this brand to give people a way to express the impact that Japan and its culture have had on their lives-an opportunity to share the insights gained from immersing yourself into another culture. So I’d like to welcome you to The Collective.
